Religion: The Real Boogeyman

"This is a really scary thing, hearing about the Tribulation as a kid. I never thought I was going to make it into Heaven, so I had this weird phase when I was about 12 when I thought everyone would go without me. So everytime I was alone I would freak out and think I'd been LEFT BEHIND. Also, any vaguely horn-like noise would freak me the hell out. I was very disturbed. But I was not alone, as every Pentecostal kid can tell you the same sad story. This is what happens when you tell your kids SCARY STUFF like this when they're too young to understand it"
